From June 19 to 22, Utrecht’s Jaarbeursplein transforms into a buzzing beach volleyball stadium full of music, energy and top-tier sport. The weather forecast: sunny, warm and perfect for summer vibes. Think sunglasses, drinks, flip-flops in the sand and cheering with friends, all in the BetCity Arena.
World-class lineup
With players from all over the world, Olympic medalists, world champions and rising stars, this edition promises to be one for the books.
For the men: Dutch favorites Brouwer & Van de Velde return after a strong performance at QKOTC Hamburg. Fellow Dutchmen Boermans & De Groot, ranked in the world’s top 10, are chasing their first home crown. Swedish Olympic champion Hellvig teams up with Nilsson for the crown. Samoilovs will play his farewell tournament alongside former world champion André. Argentina’s Capogrosso brothers, currently ranked number 2 in the world, are ready to shake up the competition. And don’t forget Huerta & Bello, they claimed the crown in Hamburg just weeks ago and are now aiming to make history with back-to-back titles.
In the women’s lineup, the Netherlands’ newest team, Konink & Schoon, step into the sand with high expectations. Schoon has already claimed crowns in Rotterdam and Doha. Fellow Dutch team Van Driel & Bekhuis are also in action. Both have tournament victories to their names and are eager to claim the crown in front of the home crowd. Brazil’s Vitoria & Hegeile bring flair and fire, while Olympic silver medalist and world bronze winner Clancy teams up with Milutinovic for a powerful pairing. From New Zealand, Polley & Macdonald make a rare appearance on European sand, and Andressa & Tainá will light up the arena with their unstoppable energy.

The action kicks off Thursday night at 8 PM (GMT+2) with the group stage. Semifinals take place on Saturday, followed by the grand finals on Sunday, where the new Queens & Kings of Utrecht 2025 will be crowned.
