Dutch teams dominate at National Series Queen & King of the Court in the Netherlands
This weekend, Breda hosted the second stop of the National Series Queen & King of the Court, part of a special BeNeTour edition where the best teams from the Netherlands and Belgium go head-to-head. Pier15 offered the perfect urban backdrop for two days of high-level beach volleyball. In the end, it was Artamonov/Van Hal and Bak/Gras who claimed the crowns as Kings and Queens of Breda.
The men’s tournament kicked off on Saturday, with four Dutch teams challenging top Belgian duo, the De Keyser brothers, who were eliminated early. In a tense final, Van Hal and Artamonov edged past Bezemer/Anfiloff to secure the win. On Sunday, Queen of the Court specialists Bak/Gras proved once again why they’re one of the best, surviving two last-second battles before winning the final. Van Vegten/De Groot and Stok/Van der Made completed the women’s podium.
The BeNeTour consists of four stops: it started in Leuven (Belgium), continued in Breda (the Netherlands), and now heads to Tilburg on July 26–27, before wrapping up with the finals in Nieuwpoort on August 8. With top teams from both countries competing, the race for the overall title is heating up.
